Kylee & I had a great time at the "Princess & the Frog"! She has an amazing attention span for a 3 yr old. We shared a bag of popcorn and she didn't stop eating it or take her eyes off the screen from the beginning of the movie to the end. She loved the movie and we had a ball! We didn't make it to "Ice" until Sunday. They were booked up last week. It was a good family day, the last day before Dad went back to work and the last day of vacation and little to no schedule. Now we have to figure out a new "routine" with preschool, Bible study, etc including our newest little family member. I am actually ready for a routine. The Gaylord (where we went to "Ice") was decked out in beautiful Christmas lights & decor, fountain shows & toy trains. A few steps away was the temporary location of "Ice". It was really amazing to see all that was made from ice. Colorful, cold, fun & beautiful. Kylee, Dad & Mom rode the ice slides, Keller was too young. It was 9 degrees inside. But that was warmer than outside. It was in the 20's outside, but with the wretched wind it was painfully cold. The balmy ice house was less painful & much more exciting.
Happy Happy New Year! Can't believe it's 2010! Still can't believe that we are a family of 4. One year ago today we submitted our initial application to the Korea program with The Barker Foundation. We had no idea that in less than a year we would have our child home. Thank you, God for your perfect plans and precious surprising gifts.
