Bits From Kylee's Korner

I haven't done a Kylee update in a while so thought I would share some of the things she is doing these days.  At almost 26th months Kylee is showing her 2 year old sassiness.  Her favorite phrase for a few weeks has been, "No, I don't want it."  How sweet.  One morning this week I found her in her crib completely naked and having wet on several things in the bed.  After a struggle at breakfast where she spit several bites of egg out (one of her favorite foods), she also did a pee-pee in the bath.  On the other hand, she is surprising us with a wonderful mind of her own.  She offers kisses & "I wu wu" (I love you's) with no request from us.  She is singing alot, songs she hears & songs she creates.  She loves singing, dancing, spinning, jumping, doing the splits.  Yep, she can really do them.  She also gets so excited about going to Bible class, children's church, gymnastics, to play with her friends.  She talks up a storm and is really developing an imagination.  Last night on the way home from dinner out she told us, "Chuy (our 8lb dog) bite elephant."  And Dad is very pleased that she now says, "GO HUSKERS!"  What a joy she is & what a fun age!

Pumpkin Farm

Today we enjoyed a beautiful autumn day at a local pumpkin farm. Kylee really enjoyed it this year since she could do more. It was also fun to be there with church friends this year, including one of Kylee's "China Sisters". Mia and her family moved here recently and we are loving having them near by. We took a hayride, did some fun slides, milked a cow, saw other animals, did a corn maze, ate kettle corn and came home with fresh apple cider and a few pumpkins. What a fun day!
