Jeff (Joel's oldest brother), Joel, Kylee & I arrived at the baseball game (LSU vs. North Carolina), it was hot & sunny. But things quickly changed. Half way through the 1st inning we got rained out.

Bummer!
The zoo trip was a big hit. We met more family (Mom & Dad, Uncle Jim, Aunt Phyllis, cousins Rita & Lisa & their guys) & friends there. Some of our closest friends, Scott & Sherri drove with their kids, Blake, Ashley & Olivia to town to meet us for the day as well. We enjoyed the day seeing, monkeys, gorillas, elephants, giraffes, sea lions, snakes, sharks, penguins etc. Kylee loved it. I think her favorite were the monkeys. She does a pretty good monkey noise, which she exhibited every time she saw one. We saw alot and wished for time to see more. It is a great zoo. We will just have to go back.

Kylee thought the otters needed some toys so she tossed them her sunglasses. Even today we asked her what happened to her sunglasses and she said, "throw". Yes, she did it on purpose. And the otters were grateful, they did play with them. It was a little entertainment for all those around at the time.
The demise of Kylee's sunglasses...

The family reunion was fun too... swimming, visiting, eating, a little shopping for the girls & a guy's trip to the Strategic Air & Space Museum, more eating & visiting. It was great for Joel to see some family that he hadn't seen in years & for Shauna to meet some for the 1st time.

The Alvin Oswald Family (those that could make it)
Cute Cousins. Daniel is almost a year older than Kylee.

Loved the photos! The sunglasses story was a crack-up. It's so fun to see your kids with their family who loves them so dearly - isn't it? Glad it was a fun time for you!
