We have been up to Christmas decorating, programs, shopping, movies, pictures with Santa, etc. We will be adding partying, baking, Christmas light viewing, present wrapping & more shopping, more programs, more movies. This week we also celebrate one year with our little Keller. We are busy & loving all the fun this season brings and all the peace and joy celebrating our Savior brings.
Pictures with Santa was a spur of the moment thing. We were at the mall for Daddy's birthday gift (he was picking out some new cowboy boots). We had come from church and happened to be dressed appropriately and decided to go for it. Kylee has always been a little skeptical of the jolly man. But she has warmed up a little more each year. We were wondering how Keller would do & Kylee said she would sit next to him but not on his lap. When we approached him, Keller walked right up to him. Of course he had candy which always speaks Keller's language. Kylee answered Santa's questions for both of them. She said that she wanted some snow skiis & little brother wanted a racing car. Kylee took note that Keller had no fear. They both climbed up in Mr. Santa's lap and posed for the picture. Keller didn't smile, but still looked pretty cute.
On Saturday we went to a tree farm to hunt out the perfect tree. It's a fun adventure, but a little challenging with little ones that get tired of walking in circles with indecisive parents. I forgot the camera so no pictures of the day.
But here are a few from various occasions over the past few weeks.
