1st Dentist Visit

Kylee had her 1st dental appt today. I had been talking it up for a couple days hoping to curb any fear before hand. Well she did absolutely fabulous! I sat next to her and held her hand. She let them polish her teeth, rinse & suction out the water, count her teeth with the little metal tool and then apply fluoride! I was amazed. I didn't expect any screaming, but I did expect some resistance or reservation. The dentist & hygienist said she deserved two treasures. So she walked out with a bag of goodies: a new toothbrush, a sand timer (so she will know how long to brush), a princess sticker and a bright pink bracelet. Mommy promised a donut, one of her favorite treats, which she doesn't get very often. Great job, Kylee!
