Remembering Gotcha Day & Adoption Day
May 9 & 10, 2007 - Two days that will forever be etched into our memories. This little angel, Kylee Hope was placed into our arms that amazing May 9th, Gotcha Day! On the 10th we swore before the US Consulate & suddenly she was forever a member of our family. Now 1 year later, we remember it like it was yesterday, but feel as if she has been with us always. We know many of you prayed for us during our journey to Kylee. Thank you! God answered so many prayers! We are daily amazed at His gift to us.

It is so wonderful to relive this with you! I remember the pure excitement and joy I felt when I saw you and Joel FINALLY holding Kylee. She has really blossomed into the most amazing little doll and I know you have become the most amazing parents.

I remember being in Nanchang and waiting "patiently" to see pictures of you FINALLY with Kylee!!! And, then to also have the blessing to meet her just a few days later in person! I've never seen that video before! My eyes were welled up with tears the whole time I watched it. How fun to relive the day you got Kylee and the day you became a family. A year ago? Really? It seems like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time. She only gets more beautiful as the months pass. What a fun weekend to celebrate being a mom to your precious Kylee! Congratulations guys!
