Celebrating Chinese New Year

On Thursday, New Years Day we had Chinese food at home as a family. We also presented Kylee with the Chinese Olympics Dolls we picked up in China. She loved them....of course, dolls.

Yesterday after church we went to PF Changs for lunch and then on to the parade. Our friends had some family in town who had also adopted a daughter from China. We discovered to our delight that our girls are from the same orphanage! We had a nice visit & fun time together. We also decided that we need to plan differently next year. We arrived in Chinatown at the end of the parade. But we still saw some of the activities & eventhough Kylee slept through most of it, it was a great day!

Last year we were wishing & hoping Kylee would be coming home very soon.

It was cold & windy again, but no snow this year....
