Happy New Year! Well to start off the new year, Kylee has experienced some new things. Last week we converted her crib to a "big girl bed" (toddler bed). She was very excited about it and does love it. It did create some insecurity at night, but she is adjusting well. For the most part she stays in it, until it is time to get up. At night if she needs us, she still calls from her bed. I did catch her a couple days ago emptying some of her drawers, when she was supposed to be taking a nap. Silly girl. Thankfully she is still taking a 2 hour nap each day!
Yesterday she & I went for a haircut. I have trimmed her hair a few times, but this was the first time she has had it cut by a professional. She did great! She sat very still for Miss Teresa. Then she was a very good girl while Mommy had her hair done too. Of course I brought something to keep her occupied...
And this is what she did while Mommy was gettin pretty...

Love all these pics. Her new do is quite stylish and the bed is kickin'? Is that a Pottery Barn bed? Adorable! I also think that your choice of occupying her during your haircut was brilliant! That is definitely my babysitter of choice when needed. :-)
Looks like Kylee's first professional cut was a special experience for her. It looks good and I like her new bed! She is just growing up too fast! She is getting to be such a little lady already. I feel that I am missing out on so much, but at least we have the pictures to help watch her change and grow!

What a beautiful bed for a very special girl. I did not realize her crib could turn into a toddler bed! Nice! The salon experience did not seem to rattle her one bit! She looks so precious with her American doll!
