Camping
Last Monday we decided we should go camping for the holiday weekend. We asked our friends (Josh, Beth, Aiden & Caleb) to go along. They suggested a great campground & we all loved it. It was beautiful and had lots of activities, plus the weather was perfect. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boating, pony rides, swimming & play-ground playing. It was really fun to camp with friends this time. They were only able to stay one night so we were on our own the second night. And I mean on our own. We were the only campers on the campground. We took a nice walk at dusk. There was a beautiful sunset & beautiful horses roaming the pasture. And then we noticed the bats....swooping way too close to our heads! So we quickly headed back to our campsite, our tent & our campfire. Before heading home the next day we stopped off to visit our previous neighbors. They took us out for a little boat ride and let the kids "drive".

This looks so fun! So glad the bats were not RIGHT where your tent was... I was visualizing the bats flying around your tent area!! The pictures are all so good and capture the pleasures you had together! What wonderful memories this will bring!
Missing you all!
