This year we have had the priviledge of having Kylee's "China Sister", Mia, and her family (Brad, Glenda & big sister Macy) living close by. Sadly they are moving away today. But we are so thankful for the year we have had with them. We decided earlier this summer that it would be fun to have the girl's birthday party together. (Kylee & her 6 "China Sisters" all have birthdays within about 2 weeks of eachother) So Saturday afternoon we had a barbecue here at the house with several families that are special to both girls, Kylee & Mia. Another "sister" (Faith) even came all the way from NY with her mom, Jodi. Jodi helped us a ton in setting up for and throwing a fun party. We had planned to have some outdoor activities, but we got rained-in. Our friends the Simons allowed us to borrow their tent to set up on our deck so we were still able to grill and make home made ice cream. It was a great time and we are thankful we were able to share the afternoon with friends & family celebrating. Happy 3rd Birthday, Kylee & Mia!

A few more from the weekend with Faithy & Aunt Jodi...

After the party about 10pm Kylee and Faith had a little spontaneous drum fest...

I'm so happy that you had a wonderful Birthday celebration for Kylee and Mia and that Faith was able to join the group as well!
I'm sorry Mia's family is moving, but I know you will still always be good friends.
Thank you for sharing the sweet pictures!
